Achieving Growth and Innovation through Inclusivity

To advance gender equity and empowerment through Jobtech in Eastern Africa, this event will explore the current landscape of women's engagement with digital platforms for work opportunities. We aim to provide a platform for meaningful discussions and insights on how to harness the potential of Jobtech to economically empower Ethiopian women while addressing the structural and dynamic barriers they face. We will also talk about useful tips and strategies that can help create gender-sensitive jobtech platforms and ecosystems that really help women in a range of fields. These could be platforms for offline work, platforms for digitally delivered work, digital services for microenterprises, technology-enabled skilling, and digital tools for worker enablement. Our goal is to share actionable insights with platforms, investors, policymakers, researchers, and support organizations to drive positive change in the jobtech space for Ethiopian women.
